Are you a New Ticket Reseller in the Market?

May 8, 2010 by Vignesh · Leave a Comment

It’s a hard world out there mate! If you are a new reseller in the market, as of now, you are one of the personalities who could be having a handful of tickets for a Vikings vs. saints match, selling it outside the stadium five to ten minutes before the game begins, bearing the painful truth deep in your heart that you could not have any intentions of seeing the game. Furthermore you won’t even have the time to see the game on TV… Such a job you undertook will later be your entire life and all it needs to thrive successfully is your careful eye in the business of ticket brokering. Resellers need basic common sense primarily and they should know what’s going on around them, at work. The latter one is even quite easy to develop, but the former one’s the stuff you must possess, it’s not a big deal though! Basic common sense in the field of ticket brokering can be acquired when you follow just one simple rule, STAY IN THE SAFE ZONE! If you want to stay in the safe zone, these are the things that you must follow…..

# 1: GET A LICENSE:

Never be an unlicensed scalper. You may earn a lot of money, merely by buying a lot of tickets in face value and you might even sell those at a 20% profit….eventually you will be a person who will be in a legal probe, whenever there’s a fake ticket fiasco or even during a gang riot between two ticket resellers.

# 2: WITH A PRESALE PASSWORD IN HAND, ATTEND A LOT OF PRESALES:

A Presale is a meeting organized exclusively for ticket brokers, by ticket brokers to have better access for ticket at the rate less than or equal to the face value. By this you can make a lot of profit. Other advantage is that not everyone can attend a presale… only person with presale passwords can get in. So if you have smart eye for getting tickets in a presale, you can do a lot of money with a small investment.

# 3: CONSTANT ACCESS TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE:

If you want to do business with some allies in the internet, then you should have constant access to the Better Business Bureau. It is a corporation whose goal is to foster a fair and effective marketplace, so that buyers and sellers can trust each other. It can be accessed only through their website. If you want to know the credibility of a ticket broker’s website, you can check it out on the BBB’S website.

# 4: USE RECAPTCHA IN YOUR WEBSTIE:

Ticket master filed a lawsuit against a company that manufactured and sold software designed to get around Ticket master’s security measures. After this incident a lot of websites, use session-specific, human-eye-readable prompt strategies such as reCAPTCHA in an attempt to prevent such automated reservation of tickets.
