Holidays can be the best time, when a ticket broker can make most of his money with just a little amount of investment. A lot of competition would be present which should actually be looked upon, but a windfall would be awaiting a hardworking reseller is guaranteed if he follows the following tips:

BIG GAME PACKS:

Big game packs are those special package systems which offer you tickets for a series of a games offered by the team. So thereby the tickets can be a big hit because the hottest game tickets get sold in hours with favorably higher profit margins and also the ignored tickets will definitely be sold sooner or later because it’s the holiday season and almost everyone would like their favorite team.

MAKING DEALS WITH COMPANIES:

Making deals with the companies can give you various advantages. First of all, the company’s aim would be to improve its prestige by giving out employees allowances. So by that way, it would buy tickets to various games from a ticket broker in order to give their staff members tickets to their favorite events.

PLANNING A VACATION:

A lot of people who gets a ticket to their favorite events would love to take their family with them. So in those cases planning their vacation, providing them with accommodation and touring as a package can make you a successful ticket reseller with a travel agent status and not to forget good money too.

TRY TO GIVE OUT OFFERS:

A lot of ticket resellers would resell their tickets at 70 to 80% profit margins during the holiday season, taking advantage of the people’s need for a Christmas present to their beloved or a vacation to a place along with an event ticket. There by if you become a cheap ticket reseller, just by giving them offers and cutting down profit margins you can actually bait more consumers which would make you profitable and also would be an indirect tactic for making some consumers to remain as your regular and permanent one.

USE LIST EASY MANAGER:

List Easy is an eBay store order management system which offers you to:

Upload orders directly to your eBay store.

Modify and process orders using fine-grain user security access rights.

Generate custom layouts to show your professionalism to your clients.

By using list easy you can easily upload tickets on eBay with just a click. The holiday season is the busiest time of the year and choosing something like list easy can make uploading easier and so selling tickets faster and easier.

If you are a new reseller in the market, as of now, you are one of the personalities who could be having a handful of tickets for a Vikings vs. saints match, selling it outside the stadium five to ten minutes before the game begins, bearing the painful truth deep in your heart that you could not have any intentions of seeing the game. Furthermore you won’t even have the time to see the game on TV… Such a job you undertook will later be your entire life and all it needs to thrive successfully is your careful eye in the business of ticket brokering. Resellers need basic common sense primarily and they should know what’s going on around them, at work. The latter one is even quite easy to develop, but the former one’s the stuff you must possess, it’s not a big deal though! Basic common sense in the field of ticket brokering can be acquired when you follow just one simple rule, STAY IN THE SAFE ZONE! If you want to stay in the safe zone, these are the things that you must follow…..

# 1: GET A LICENSE:

Never be an unlicensed scalper. You may earn a lot of money, merely by buying a lot of tickets in face value and you might even sell those at a 20% profit….eventually you will be a person who will be in a legal probe, whenever there’s a fake ticket fiasco or even during a gang riot between two ticket resellers.

# 2: WITH A PRESALE PASSWORD IN HAND, ATTEND A LOT OF PRESALES:

A Presale is a meeting organized exclusively for ticket brokers, by ticket brokers to have better access for ticket at the rate less than or equal to the face value. By this you can make a lot of profit. Other advantage is that not everyone can attend a presale… only person with presale passwords can get in. So if you have smart eye for getting tickets in a presale, you can do a lot of money with a small investment.

# 3: CONSTANT ACCESS TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE:

If you want to do business with some allies in the internet, then you should have constant access to the Better Business Bureau. It is a corporation whose goal is to foster a fair and effective marketplace, so that buyers and sellers can trust each other. It can be accessed only through their website. If you want to know the credibility of a ticket broker’s website, you can check it out on the BBB’S website.

# 4: USE RECAPTCHA IN YOUR WEBSTIE:

Ticket master filed a lawsuit against a company that manufactured and sold software designed to get around Ticket master’s security measures. After this incident a lot of websites, use session-specific, human-eye-readable prompt strategies such as reCAPTCHA in an attempt to prevent such automated reservation of tickets. If you want to know about reCAPTCHA, click here

# 5: USE LISTEASY TICKET MANAGER TO UPLOAD TICKET IN EBAY:

Do you know how much time it takes to upload tickets in eBay? It would take half of your work time. If you use ListEasy ticket manager, you can upload a lot of tickets in just one click. You can upload more tickets in lesser time, selling more tickets than you can ever imagine. Click here to sign up for the service.

The day after ‘labor’, when fans get ready to kickoff all that’s running in their lives and lose everything just to focus on where the big ball’s heading towards, People who take care of the seats reserved by their consumers also will have their own season to worry about… The NFL 2010, just like every other football seasons we went through years before and what we go through this year, even months before the actual match and of course the unpredictable moments of glory that we expect in the near future are only some of the things that drives a football fan to get a seat, at least the one without an obstructed view, eventually enlightening the chain of the secondary market, providing the ticket brokers a ray of hope to survive and make more out off the fan’s fervor… I have designed a defense strategy exclusively for the ticket brokers to win THEIR NFL 2010, with an evident positive cash flow.

STRATEGY # 1- THE STEELERS THEORY:

The Pittsburgh Steelers are having a rough time this season, after the suspension of the team’s famous quarterback BEN ROETHLISBERGER, for at least six games, which would be reduced to four in response to a good conduct by behavioral evaluation… Big Ben was the reason, the Pittsburgh Steelers won two super bowls and his fans will be terribly disappointed with his absence in the first four or six (god decides that) games. Now the issue is that the fans are getting mixed reviews, coming out from various sources about the fate of the Pittsburgh Steelers as whether it would be a big hit among its fans with the replacement of Dennis Dixon in the place of Big Ben or is this season the most challenging one for the Steelers without Big Ben. Both these reviews are supposed to be balanced and equally weighed and so the future is just unpredictable in the case of Steelers. As resellers, you have to be in a safer zone by doing two things primarily

Sports club seats are often not recommended to be a great product of business for the ticket brokers, as people come to the stadium to watch the game and not for the pleasure that the seat’s offering or for the waiter’s service… don’t you think they would very well get this in a restaurant. So be smart about not investing on those club seats for any Steelers match.

Big Ben’s arriving on the six week for sure and fans actually will be rushing into the stadium after his arrival. So, it’s better that for the first five, it’s better that you buy less of the stadium and to gain profit, you can sell it at a higher rate than the face value.

To know more, we are providing you with a link.

STRATEGY # 2: THE DALLAS COWBOYS INVESTMENT:

Super Bowl XLV the league’s championship game, is scheduled to be played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6, 2011. So technically Dallas Cowboys, who are hosting the super bowl will be the moment seekers as every single person in the country who loves ball will actually give their entire paycheck for a seat in that stadium. So be wise in getting more tickets for the match…Even club seats will be gone in less than an hour.

STRATEGY # 3: THE JETS AND GIANTS:

The New York Jets and the New York Giants are going their play their game in the new MEADOWLANDS STADIUM, this year which is actually the biggest breakthrough, the JETS would have ever experienced ever, because the stadium replaced Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex, which was home to the Giants since 1976 and the Jets since 1984. Like its predecessor, the new stadium will be the only NFL stadium shared by two teams. However, unlike Giants Stadium in which the Jets were a junior partner, the new stadium is a 50/50 partnership between both NFL teams. So imagine how would it be for every single jet fan to feel their match in their own stadium…experts believe that, the jets game would be the biggest thing happening this year.

The National Association of Ticket Brokers has issued a memorandum, influenced by discontented consumers who were deceived by unregulated and unlicensed scalpers. Though the NATB with its code of ethics strictly pursued by every single member of the association and its versatile policies like a 200% refund of the amount if a ticket is guaranteed but not delivered on the correct time to the buyer, the reputation of various secondary market sources are trampled by unlawful touts who disguise as licensed ticket brokers swindle the consumers with tickets that may not even exist. As a response to the complaints of its authentic consumers, the NATB has released a list of do’s and don’ts for the sole purpose of public service and awareness

The Do’s:

1) Ask if a person is a licensed broker and if possible ask for his license plate. This is to know whether the person is a legitimate source to rely on, as unlicensed scalpers can deceive you with their counterfeit tickets.
2) Check whether your secondary market source is a member of the National Association of Ticket Brokers.
3) Use a credit card or another secure type of payment, which provides better protection and security for your money paid for the ticket.
4) Verify the location of seats on the seating chart, as it can avoid being misled into purchasing seats which has an obstructed view and to prevent buying tickets which might not even exist.
5) If in case, you have been deceived with a fake ticket, report it to the NATB’s hotline at 1-630-510-4594 as soon as possible.

THE DON’TS:

1) Don’t use cash as scalpers would sell tickets that have already been scanned at the venue gate since entry is typically allowed only when a ticket is scanned for the first time. That’s the reason cash must not be the mode of payment.
2) Don’t buy tickets from unsecured websites. The NATB and its members are not even affiliated to Ticketmaster, Tickettron or any other primary sellers for venues and so they don’t encourage or criticize the owners of Ticket master and Tickettron and the people who do business with them. NATB is an independent self sustaining entity.
3) Don’t buy tickets from anyone who sells them in the street or outside the venue as full time scalpers will try to sell forged tickets few minutes before the show commences.
4) Don’t work with ticket scalpers who are unlicensed brokers

Please visit the NATB Website, where various facilities are offered to consumers who prefer doing business the secure way. One of the services apart from a complaint registry and the media centre is the ticket market place which comes under www.natb.org which deals with selling tickets directly from the members of the association, with consumer protection, confidence and a written guarantee. The ticket market place only charges possible sales taxes and shipping charges, with the original face value of the ticket. For further assistance, visit the website where your queries and complaints are gladly answered by its coordinators.

There are many reasons for which starting to sell tickets on eBay are a wise step to take. In order to convince you of this I will give you only few of these reasons and let you decide if I am right or wrong.

1. Tickets are not Very Expensive Items

I’m not talking about front seat or VIP seat tickets, because, let me tell you a secret, those are the hardest tickets to sell. I am talking about normal tickets which any average person can afford to buy. About those tickets wanted by many people, such as tickets for Hannah Montana concerts, for which every child would do anything or tickets for the baseball games which will make men give up their entire salary. These tickets to normal events for normal people have a reasonable price, so that each and every person can purchase them.

2. You need not Stock Tickets

Because the events are always changing, you will not have to make a stock of tickets. About five or ten tickets for one event will be enough to make some good money out of this business. There are cases in which you will need no more than one or two tickets to make the deal of your life, especially if you caught a good ticket for the hottest event in town.

3. You do not need storing space

This may sound silly for you but unlike many other products you can sell on eBay, tickets do not need storing place. They are so small and occupy so less space that you will not have to worry where to place them. You can put them on your desk, in one of your drawers or even in one of your books.

4. Shipping costs are reduced

Another great thing about selling tickets on eBay is that they are small and the shipping fees for them are reduced, thus your clients will not have to pay a lot of money on shipping taxes. This will encourage them to buy from you, whereas if you were selling bigger products the taxes would have been bigger and they will have thought twice before purchasing the item from you.

5. Huge Market

There are people who are ready to pay anything to watch their favorite team playing or for their favorite star on the stage. Ticket industry is an industry which has a market all over the world and people who have started to seek the help of ticket brokers have increased. As such, tickets are always good items to sell on eBay.

As I mentioned previously, these are only few of the advantages of selling tickets on eBay. To see more of them start your own eBay ticket business right now. You will see that it is worth the effort!
