Disappointed Whitney Houston Fans Wants Ticket Refund

February 24, 2010 by Vignesh · 1 Comment

A concert recently performed by American pop singer Whitney Houston in Brisbane, an attempt for a comeback, was so poor and dissatisfying that the fans want a ticket refund. Many fans were so disappointed that they walked out of the show in the middle.

Julie Graham from Brisbane who wants her ticket money back said, “I have emailed the fellow down in Melbourne to get our money back but I don’t think we’ll get it. We saw Liza Minnelli and she was marvelous. She sang whole songs and she performed. But this one just walked all over the stage going: ‘Um, I’ve got to go and have a drink’.”

Houston has two Australian dates left in the current comeback tour, scheduled for New South Wales and Victoria. In light of the Brisbane reviews, performing well at these latter concerts is all the more imperative for the singer with the troubled past, if she is to gain back the esteem of her fans.

What a tragedy that Whitney, once my favorite performer, fell down so hard with her disease of addictions. Her relationship with her abusive husband Bobby
Brown is certainly the cause of her need to escape reality via drug use. Is her mother still living? She must be devastated with what happened with her daughter. My prayers are with Whitney and her family for a complete recovery. I believe that the concert goers should receive full refunds.
