UK Competition Commission to re-review the proposed merger of Ticket Master and Live Nation

The UK Competition Commission has decided to re-evaluate its December approval of merger between TicketMaster and Live Nation. This was in part a response to renewed complaints from Europe’s largest ticket broker, CTS Eventim. Officials have now been directed to re-consider the impacts such a merger would have on potential rival interests.
