Woods Confirms Attendance at Golf Competition: Ticket Price Skyrockets
Tiger Woods officially announced yesterday on his official website that he will participate in next month’s Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Usually, ticket price for the pro-golf competition are around $200, but last week the price for re-sales on GoldenTickets went up to $1950 just because of rumors that the long awaited 34 years-old Woods would return to the game scene.
After official confirmation for his attending in April’s competition, ticket prices increased to up to $2400 each. Woods’ attendance offers a great deal of attention to the Masters in Augusta competition and skyrockets ticket prices to the top of the scale like they haven’t been in a really long time.
Woods has just been through a sex scandal and hasn’t played for US Masters since his affairs were made public four months ago. The famous golf player stated that: “The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played. I have undergone almost two months of in-patient therapy and I am continuing my treatment.”
Tiger Woods last game was back on November 15, when his team won against the Australian Masters.
